Show your teacher you can learn on your own by following the steps below:

1. Assess Your Readiness
   1. Evaluate your knowledge- understand how much you know about the topic you want to learn
   2. Identify your learning style- how you learn best (visual, auditory, hands-on)
   3. Consider your motivation- what inspires you to learn
2. Set SMART goals
   1. Define your learning outcome- what you want to learn or achieve. 
   2. Create SMART goals- Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound
3. Gather Resources and Plan Approach
   1. Identify resources- find appropriate tools (books, podcast, courses)
   2. Seek expertise- ask teacher, peer or knowledgeable person for guidance
4. Engage in Learning Process
   1. Participate actively- actively engage in the material
   2. Use effective strategies- try and use a variety of learning strategies
   3. Develop your own methods- find approaches that work best for you
5. Evaluate your Learning
   1. Monitor progress- regularly check how well you’re progressing toward goals
   2. Reflect on achievement- think about what you’ve learned, how it applies to your goal and what you might do differently next time
   3. Seek feedback- from instructor, peers or anyone supporting your learning
   4. Cultivate mindset- believe in your ability to learn, grow and improve
