DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLY KAHOOT STRATEGY

REVIEW

PREPARE

  • Gather Materials- Mobile device or computer, study notes
  • Seek Support- Ask your teacher, tutor, parent or peer for support as needed.

APPLY

  1. Creating a Kahoot for Memorization
    1. Log in and Create– Go to the Kahoot! website or app, click the “Create” button, and select “New Kahoot” to start building your own. 
    2. Add Questions– Input the words, terms, or facts you want to memorize as questions. 
    3. Provide Answers- Enter the corresponding answers for each question. 
    4. Utilize AI: For complex topics, use the AI-powered flashcard creator to obtain questions and answers to help you build a study set quickly
    5. Add Media- Upload images or media to make the Kahoot more engaging. 
    6. Set Times and Points– Adjust the time limit for each question and assign points 
    7. Save Your Kahoot– After content is entered, save your Kahoot to use it for practice. 
  2. Using Study Mode for Memorization
    1. Find Your Kahoot– Locate the Kahoot you want to study.
    2. Launch Study Mode- Click on the game and select the Study button 
    3. Select Flashcards- Choose the Flashcards option to begin your study session. 

Practice and learn- Flip through cards, review the information, and mark cards as “Got it” or “Study again” to focus on areas that need more practice.
