This was Gina’s first morning in the hospital.

She had been awake for half an hour and was hungry.

A young woman pushed a cart into Gina’s room.

On the cart were covered dishes.

There were glasses of fruit juice and milk.

Gina was very hungry when she smelled the food.

The young woman asked, “Are you ready for breakfast?”

“Yes, please!” said Gina with a smile.
