While working in her garden last week, Mrs. Olga Henson discovered seven eggs. Being curious about what kind of eggs they were, she dug them up, took them to the city zoo, and inquired.
The curator said they were probably snake eggs, but he would exhibit them as mystery eggs until they hatched. The curator said that if they were snake eggs, the baby snakes would make slits in the egg membranes when they were ready to hatch.
This morning, spectators observed slits beginning to appear in the egg membranes. Within moments, baby snakes wiggled and struggled from the mystery eggs.
